Is there anything the customer needs to prepare?
In addition to the translatable files, we request the customer to provide the following:
  • Translation style guide and terminology glossary (if available)
If you have a style guide, terminology glossary, and any other guidelines on documentation and user interface, please send them to us. Those guidelines help us better meet your specific needs.
If you don't have a guideline, we can create one for you upon your request. Cost will apply.
  • Product information or a beta version of the product (if required for work)
We may request the customer to provide actual product, if it is required for work.
  • Timely response to inquiries about the project
As we work on your project, questions may come up. We request the customer to respond to our questions so as not to delay the project completion.
We trust that having close communication with the customers will help us improve quality of the final deliverables and customer satisfaction.
For English-to-Japanese translation projects, can you have the translation checked by a native speaker?
Yes, we do. We have the translation checked by a qualified native speaker before project completion to ensure that Japanese translation is natural and fluent.
The original document was updated during the project. Can you make changes in the translation accordingly?
We understand that changes can happen after a translation project has begun, especially if a translation project starts before the product is final. This happens more often in multilanguage localization projects. At C-brains we can make changes accordingly. Please note that we may need to adjust your charges or change the delivery schedule. We can discuss details.
